Does house demolition include removing the slab and foundation?
Not automatically. Some demolition jobs leave the slab, and some remove the slab, footings and driveway too. Your builder's plans decide which you need. Make sure the written quote says exactly what happens to the foundation.
Leaving the slab can work for some rebuilds. Many new builds need it removed.
Taking a lot back to flat land is not the same as engineered grading or compaction for a new foundation.
Ask your builder what condition they need the lot in before you hire anyone.
