What We Take
What happens to the lot after a house is demolished?
After demolition, debris is hauled off and the lot is left in the condition written into your scope, such as rough-cleared or taken back to flat land. Final inspections may close out the permit. From there the owner usually moves on to building, selling the lot or holding it.
Ask whether erosion control or fencing is required while the lot sits empty.
Vacant lots still need mowing and upkeep under city codes.
Your property appraiser may reassess the parcel once the structure is gone.
Keep the permit and final inspection records for the future buyer or builder.
