Where Your Junk Actually Goes
"We recycle!" is the easiest thing in this industry to say and the hardest to prove. So here's the honest version: every load we pick up in Palm Beach and Broward County gets sorted before it's tipped. Usable goods go to local charities, metal and electronics go to recyclers, and only what's genuinely spent goes to a transfer station. Ask on the day and we'll tell you exactly where your load went.
Donated first
Furniture in usable condition
Sofas, dressers, dining sets, and bed frames with no rips, heavy stains, or structural damage. Charities turn down anything they can't resell, so condition decides the route.
Working appliances
Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and microwaves that still run. Non-working units go to scrap metal recycling instead — refrigerant is recovered first, as federal law requires.
Household goods & housewares
Dishes, small kitchen appliances, lamps, and decor from estate and downsizing cleanouts. This is the single largest category we divert.
Building materials
Cabinets, doors, unused tile, and fixtures pulled during a remodel — ReStore-type outlets take these when they're intact.
Mobility & medical equipment
Wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, and hospital beds go to local medical-loan closets whenever they meet condition standards.
Want the receipt? Tell us before we load and we'll bring it back to you. On estate and downsizing cleanouts it's often worth more than the cost of the haul.

Faith Farm Ministries

Goodwill (Gulfstream & South Florida)

Have a cause close to your heart? Mention it when you text — if your items fit what that organization accepts, we'll route them there and bring back the receipt.
Recycled second
Scrap metal
Appliances, grills, exercise equipment, filing cabinets, and metal furniture are separated for scrap rather than landfilled.
Electronics
TVs, monitors, computers, and printers go to a certified e-waste processor. Florida discourages landfilling CRTs and lithium batteries for good reason.
Cardboard & clean paper
Move-in boxes and office archive boxes are flattened and recycled instead of tipped.
Yard waste & clean wood
Vegetative debris goes to a mulching facility, not a landfill cell — this matters most after storms.
Mattresses
Roughly 75% of a mattress (steel, foam, wood, fiber) is recoverable at a facility equipped to break them down.
What nobody can legally haul
- — Paint, solvents, motor oil, pool chemicals, and pesticides — these are household hazardous waste and go to a county HHW drop-off
- — Propane tanks, gasoline, and ammunition
- — Asbestos-containing material — this requires a licensed abatement contractor
- — Medical and biohazard waste, including sharps
Both Palm Beach and Broward County run free household hazardous waste drop-offs for residents. If you're unsure whether something qualifies, text us a photo before you load it into your car.
