Hourly haulers look cheap in the ad and expensive on the invoice. Flat rate means the clock is our problem, not yours.
Hourly pricing ($60–$120/hr per man plus dump fees) rewards a slow crew. If it takes them four hours, you pay for four hours, plus whatever the landfill charged.
Flat rate is priced by the space your junk takes in the trailer. A packed single-car garage is $295 whether it takes us 45 minutes or three hours.
When hourly can win: tiny jobs with one easy item, or when you already have a hauler you trust who works fast. Everything else — cleanouts, garages, estates, evictions — is cheaper flat rate.

For anything larger than a single item, almost always. Flat rate caps your cost, includes dump fees, and removes the incentive for the crew to work slowly.
How do you calculate the flat rate?
By volume — how much of our 16.6-cubic-yard dump trailer your load fills. A photo is enough for us to judge it accurately.
