Most South Florida junk-removal companies hide their pricing. We don't. Here's exactly what the going rate is in Palm Beach and Broward County in 2026 — what drives the price up, what drives it down, and how to avoid getting overcharged.
The short answer
Expect $95–$175 for a single item (couch, fridge, mattress) and $250–$650 for a typical garage or small estate cleanout. A full 16-yard truck-load runs $550–$795 in 2026 — anything materially higher than that for a standard residential job is overpriced for our market.
What drives the price
Three things: volume (how much of the truck you fill), weight (concrete, tile, dirt, and shingles cost more because the dump charges by the ton), and labor (stairs, no elevator, gate access, or items that need to be disassembled). Time of day and same-day urgency rarely add more than $25–$50 with a fair operator.
What it should NOT cost
Watch for 'fuel surcharges' over $20, 'environmental fees' that aren't itemized, or a quote that jumps after the crew is on-site. Reputable South Florida haulers give you a flat rate before they lift a finger — and honor it.
City-by-city notes
Boynton Beach, Delray, and Boca have the most competition, so pricing is tightest. Wellington and out-west jobs sometimes carry a small mileage adjustment. Coral Springs and Pompano are competitive too. Anywhere east of I-95 with parking restrictions can add $25–$50 for the time spent shuttling.
