Top-Dressing Mix Delivery in Palm Beach & Broward County
A fine sand-and-organic blend spread thinly over turf to smooth the surface, cover aeration holes and build soil over time.
Top-dressing is spread thin — a quarter inch at a time — so it settles into the canopy instead of smothering the grass. Done after aeration it fills the holes, levels ruts and slowly builds a better rootzone. Mix ratios shift with the turf: sandier for sports and golf, more organic for residential St. Augustine.
What it's used for

Old sod, thatch piles and grading spoil get hauled off the same day.
Delivered — and Spread, If You Want
Order top-dressing mix as a placed pile, or have our crew rake, wheelbarrow and grade it out to the depth you need on the same visit.
Delivered and spread the same visit
Order the material with spreading and one crew handles both. We place the load close to the work, then wheelbarrow and rake it out to an even depth — mulch in beds, rock in borders and drainage runs, soil across low spots, sand under pavers.
Rough grade, level, and finish
For soil, fill dirt, and base material we rake to grade, knock down high spots, and slope away from the structure so water runs off instead of pooling. Tell us the finished depth you want and we hit it.
Bed prep and edging
Old mulch or faded rock scraped out first, weed fabric down if you want it, fresh material spread to depth, and edges cut clean against turf and walkways. The old material leaves on our trailer the same trip.
Hand work where machines don't fit
Screened patios, pool decks, courtyards, tight side yards, and second-story planters all get done by hand. No lawn ruts, no torn-up gate posts.
Spreading is priced as an add-on to the delivered material — usually quoted by the yard or by the bed area, flat rate, before we load. Text the square footage and depth and you'll have the number in minutes.
Delivery & Spreading FAQ
Do you spread top-dressing mix after delivery?
Yes. We can deliver top-dressing mix as a placed pile, or rake and spread it out to an even depth as part of the same visit. Spreading is quoted as a flat add-on to the delivered price.
How is top-dressing mix sold and delivered?
By the cubic yard. We quote material plus delivery as one flat number at today's rate, so there are no surprises at the gate.
How much top-dressing mix do I need?
One cubic yard covers roughly 100 square feet at 3 inches deep, 160 square feet at 2 inches, or 320 square feet at 1 inch. Text us your area dimensions and target depth and we'll do the math for you.
Can you haul away the old material first?
Old sod, thatch piles and grading spoil get hauled off the same day. Combining the haul-off with the delivery on one trip is almost always cheaper than booking two jobs.
Where do you deliver top-dressing mix?
Every city in Palm Beach County and Broward County, seven days a week. Same-day delivery is often available when it fits the route.
How do I order?
