Is it safe to drive on a patched tire?
A proper plug-patch in the tread area is generally safe. Punctures in the sidewall or shoulder can't be safely repaired — the tire should be replaced.
Driving flat damages the tire beyond repair.
Only one or two repairs per tire is the usual limit.
A used replacement can be an affordable fix.
