How do I get rid of an old mattress in South Florida?
Most Palm Beach and Broward cities will take a mattress on a scheduled bulk-trash day if it's wrapped and placed at the curb, but pickup can be weeks out. All Out Rubbish removes a mattress and box spring same-day for a flat rate starting around $75.
Mattresses are one of the most commonly rejected bulk items because of bed-bug rules — several municipalities require them bagged in plastic before they'll touch them.
We take the mattress out of the bedroom ourselves; you don't have to drag it to the curb or fold it into a car.
